About Melrimba

Melrimba is currently one of Indonesia's largest Lily cut flower producers, supplying major hotels and florists with an array of popular Oriental and L.A.-hybrid varieties. We stay updated with global flower & color trends and constantly conduct trial production on new varieties to meet our customer's evolving needs. Over the past years, we have diversified our product range to include other prominent cut flowers, namely Calla Lily and Phalaenopsis orchids, propagated from tissue culture in our in-house laboratory facilities. In addition to the above, we also produce other cut-flowers such as Anthurium, Liatris, Gomphocarpus, and a variety of cut foliage to complete our product range. We work closely with local and foreign technical experts to assist us in constantly improving our cultivation process. Combined with extensive experience and dedication, Melrimba strives to deliver consistent quality and continuous quantity to fulfill domestic and international demand.

Products and services

In 1996, we started our own laboratory to produce tissue culture plants for hybrid Phalaenopsis orchids and Zantedechia tubers (Calla Lily) in order to have a steady supply for our nurseries. We work closely with research experts from the Indonesia Institute of Sciences to ensure continual progress in tissue culture techniques. Our achievement so far has been to successfully develop young plants from mericlone technique in Phalaenopsis.

Using award winning mother-plants, we are propagating a wide range of phalaenopsis orchids using two methods:

• MERICLONE method : we can guarantee a 99% accuracy; same quality and color as parent.
• HYBRID method : will result in new plants high degree of variations based on a combination of parents' traits.

We supply Phalaenopsis as cut flowers and as plants in various stages: in flask, small, medium and large plants. While we are delighted to supply our self-propagated varieties of Phalaenopsis, we are also glad to accept your trust order for propagating your own varieties. Your plants will be produced in a well-controlled environment under strict supervision of our skilled technicians, where we will take careful measures to protect your privileged information.
