Indonesian Flower Association (ASBINDO) as the floriculture organization responsible for the implemented green city as a means of conservation the earth. Therefore ASBINDO in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and the Directorate of Spatial Planning organized the event, titled "Urban Greening Forum" on 6-7 June 2012 held at Function Room Directorate General of Spatial Planning Ministry of Public Works. The event was opened by Minister of Public Works Ir. Djoko Kirmanto, Dipl. HE.

The activity which was attended by 300 participants, divided into several sessions, namely the implementation of the green city in some countries like the Netherlands and Singapore, sharing the experience of several cities implementing P2KH, CSR from several companies, the activities from green community that support green city and also the readiness of of ASBINDO to be partner for providing and consulting regarding P2KH.
On this occasion, ASBINDO Chairman Glenn Pardede together with Director of Urban Ir. Joessair Lubis, CES, held press conference confirmed the importance of green city as an effort to conserve the earth. Green city has to be Interpreted as maintain not just planting the plant. In addition, ASBINDO launch green services to support the implementation of a green city. ASBINDO representative at The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), Karen Tambayong also had the opportunity to give Green City Guidelines to the Director General of Spatial Planning Ministry of Public Works, Ir. Imam Santoso Ernawi, MCM.MSc witnessed by representatives of district and Mr. P2KH executor. Chuah Hock Seong (Singapore).
The event was closed with the signing of a Letter of intention from: representatives of P2KH participants, representatives companies that implementing CSR witnessed by the ASBINDO Chairman and Director of Urban Ministry of Public Works. The forum is expected to be the first step in establishment of the Green City Network that contains elements of the government, private sector / business, and community / society.
