Floriculture is a very intensive agriculture. One aspect of the very fast turnover in production activities and the product value which is much higher than any agricultural product, making production losses one of the biggest challenges in cultivation practice. Among several factors causing production losses such as bad weather, miscalculation in planting time, incorrect production treatment, wrong choice of plant material etc., it turns out that the biggest factor causing production losses is pest and disease attacks.

The time aspect, from monitoring to the decision to take control action, is fast. Identification of pests and diseases must be precise. Materials for pest control must be available and their application must be as soon as possible. In most cases, the tolerance for pests and diseases of all floriculture products is quite low. One or two spots of bacteria or fungi will affect its appearance, where the physical appearance must be prime and clean.
