The bat flower (Tacca chantrieri Andre) belongs to the family Taccaceae are herbaceous. This species is given the name bat flower because the flower arrangement has bracts with wide and dark colors like bat wings. The Tacca flower arrangement has multiple florets and filiforms; filiform is a long whisker-like structure in large numbers, so that in Malaysia this species is called by the name of Adam's Beard.
