Description

Dianthus caryophyllus is known by the name Carnation. This flower widely used in the florist industry. It has many colors. Native from Mediteranian region, and some from Siberia, Arctic, Japan and Himalayas. This plants grown at relatively high light intensity. And the temperature needs is about 75 F/24 C. 

Care Tip

Carnation may be harvested open or in the bud stage. cut flowers have a longevity in vase life at 1-7o C for storage. this flower could last 6 to 9 days in untreated water. Place the flowers at clean vase.
