Floriculture Product Presentation Training
ASBINDO conducted training on Floriculture Product Presentation which aims the participants be able to present their products in shops, showrooms, attracting many people to visit and eventually purchase the product. The event was held on November 8, 2011 in Jakarta Design Centre showing Ansjeliek Coolbergen as a trainer and Rosana harahap and Andy Djati Utomo, S. Sn, AIFD, CFD as a companion.
The participants that came from various backgrounds such as florists, decorators, growers, hotels and shopping centers follows the training with great enthusiasm. Trainers provide new insights on how to attract visitors and then buy the products displayed in shops, showrooms, or other locations.
Social Media Fest 2011 - ASBINDO&Indonesia Berkebun
The event that took place 22-24 September 2011 was well visited by the social media community in Jakarta. The ASBINDO community of stakeholders within the floriculture sector participated to the event in collaboration with Indonesia Berkebun (twitter: @IDBerkebun). Goal was to raise awareness of Floriculture and the importance of green living. Members of ASBINDO sponsored the decoration (include products) of a huge indoor Garden at the 4th floor of fX LifeStyle X’ntre (fX Mall Senayan).
On the first day ABSINDO organised a press conference at the Indoor Garden at which they vowed to support afforrestation and green lifestyle to support the earth. Spread out during the event members of ASBINDO gave workshops among other about teak tree plantations, how to make a terrarium garden, compos making and much more. According to the event planners the indoor garden wat the most popular space at the entire event.
Floriculture Socialization for School
Spread out information and education about floriculture is one of ASBINDO board member 2011-2014 program. These activities will be conducted periodically. One of the activities already implemented are ctivities already implemented are Seminar "Let's Garden" held in cooperation ASBINDO with Santo Fransiskus Foundation and supported by several companies on 23-24 August 2011. The program aims to add knowledge about floriculture, plant maintenance in urban areas and the benefit of plants for environment.
