Tagetes erecta, the Mexican marigold, also called Aztec marigold, is a species of the genus Tagetes native to Mexico and Central America. Despite its being native to the Americas, it is often called African marigold. This plant also used for ceremonial and decorative purposes. Marigolds are often used as flower arrangements. As the inscription on stick werks or as a garland.

Description
Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, perennial plants native to Mexico, Central America, and Colombia. There are at least 36 species of dahlia, some like D. imperialis up to 10 metres tall. Dahlia hybrids are commonly grown as garden plants. The Aztecs gathered and cultivated the dahlia for food, ceremonies, as well as decorative purposes, and the long woody stem of one variety was used for small pipes.
Care Tip
Harvest only when the flower is fully opened. Vase life of this flower is about 1 to 2 weeks when a floral preservative (added glucose) is used. Pretreatment increase longevity. Keep dahlias out of direct sunlight and away from rapid air movement. Avoid high temperatures as well.
