Keep Local Wisdom by Using Local Material in Modern Touch

One of foral designers task is to keep local culture to be recognized internationally. And one of their idea is to combine local floriculture materials (leaves, flowers, and other floriculture materials) with the modern trends. Two floral designer who is also ASBINDO member have great idea in this topic.

This two floral designers have a sharp idea to use local materials also stated in the books he wrote. Andy Djati Utomo, S.Sn, AIFD, CFD on his latest book "A Bridal Bouquet Collection (2) more emphasis on local knowledge and also the use of objects that may be considered worthless by most people. While Ineke Turangan, AIFD in his book 'Introducing Tradition into Modern Style "wrote philosophical use of coconut and combined with modern concept so unique works that can be accepted by the international community.

Liner is a term in the horticultural industry for seeds or small plants that placed in complex container consist of several individual cells sized 4 cm x 4 cm up to 8cm x 8cm. Liner plant breeding can be a result of vegetative including tissue culture, nor of the transplanted seedling / plug. Liner seeds or plants are intermediate products for the enlargement and planting on a larger container.
