Cactus, Succulent, Sansevieria Contest 2022
On September 25, 2022, the Cactus Flower Palace together with the Lembang cactus community held a cactus, succulent, sansevieria contest. This event is the biggest contest in 2022 with 17 contest categories, namely cactus, succulent, sansevieria and minigarden. Carrying an interesting theme #silaturahmiwithoutlimit, this event places great emphasis on the relationship between farmers, hobbyists, collectors and business people, and of course this contest event will be judged by professional judges.
In addition, there was a very interesting event, namely a talk show, discussing the prospect of floriculture agribusiness with speakers from the Indonesian Flower Association (ASBINDO) and the Cactus Flower Palace to add insight and increase motivation for business people and those who will start a business in the field of floriculture.
The criteria for judging the cactus, succulent and sansevieria contests are: The first impression, the beauty of the plant is seen in terms of the compatibility of planting with pots. Plant health, free from disease. Plant performance, including proportional plant shape and character Patterns and Colors, seen from the balance of shades and color brightness.
Garden Visit Grees Nursery
ASBINDO has organized a garden visit which was held on June 8, 2022 at Grees Nursery (CV. Cakra Buana Flora), which is located at Jl. Raya Ciapus No.44, Desa Tamansari Kec. Tamansari Rt. 01/04, Ciapus, Bogor Regency. This activity was attended by 20 participants, the Garden Visit took place from 10.00 WIB and closed with lunch together at 13.00 WIB.
Mr. Murtono, the owner of Grees Nursery, started his business in 2014 starting as a garden worker in a villa, due to the pandemic that caused the villa business to decline, he tried other businesses by raising chickens and fish until he became interested in the ornamental plant business. He learned self-taught from various sources and had ups and downs in running his business.
Garden Visit Rosita Nursery
The ASBINDO Garden Visit was held on November 16, 2021 at Rosita Nursery, which is located at Komplek IPB Sindangbarang 2 Blok S No.6, Dramaga, Bogor, West Java 16680. This garden visit is part of the Sie Organization Program and is usually held every 3-4 months. Attended by about 31 participants, the Garden Visit lasted from 09.00 Wib and ended with lunch around 12.00 Wib.
