ASBINDO Gathering & Leadership Communication Training
ASBINDO Members Gathering held on June 5, 2012 at Guest House 678 Kemang which was attended by members and also representatives ASBINDO Regional from Tomohon, Sorong, Batam, Katingan, and Bali. At the gathering, 41 participants that attended was also have sharing the latest information from ASBINDO Regional and also Leadership Training and Communication Skills
ASBINDO Chairman, Glenn Pardede in his speech at the event confirmed that to be a large and powerful organization, the support of all members is required. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen communication and enhance the capacity and capability of members. Glenn also state that being a member of ASBINDO not only have financially profit but also other social benefits.
Nursery Visit PT East West Seed Indonesia
ASBINDO held the regular agenda, visit to member's nursery. Nursery visit that held on 11 May 2012 was conducted at PT East West Seed Indonesia (EWINDO) in conjunction with The EWINDO Annual Expo. EWINDO is a producer of vegetable and flower seeds. Some seeds that produced are Marigold, Gomphrena, Zinnia, Cosmos, Melampodium, and Helianthus. On this occasion, participants get a sharing information from Mr. Ton de Rooij regarding the value that can be added to the floriculture products. This added value can be the information that also encourages the purchase of products. In other word, participants be pushed to be creative to market their products.

Participation at AGRINEX 2012
ASBINDO has participated in the national agricultural exhibition, Agribusiness in Expo (Agrinex) held on 30 March to 1 April 2012 at the Jakarta Convention Centre, Jakarta, Indonesia. The exhibition was attended by 400 exhibitors from 178 institutions. Stand ASBINDO laid on Pre Fuction Hall “Bumi Hortikultura” next to the Directorate General of Horticulture, and other horticultural companies. Next to variety information about ASBINDO, membership benefits, and ASBINDO Training Centre, ASBINDO also held Business Matchmaking by providing Matchmaking board.
